Location: Riverside Park in downtown Polson, Montana
(southeast corner of the Hwy 93 bridge)
Distance: swim = 1.5 km (0.93 miles), bike = 40 km (24.9 miles), run 10 km (6.2 miles)

Kid’s Events:
Bring your kids and their gear as we are planning a fun event for the younger folks this year. The kid race is free and will take place after the adults finish (see schedule below). We are still finalizing the courses, but will try to keep the distances fairly short and manageable for inexperienced racers. Life jackets will be allowed for the swim leg and of course helmets are required on the bike. We hope to have maps and more info soon.

6:45 am – transition area opens
6:45-7:45 am – race morning check-in and packet pick-up
7:45 am – prerace athlete meeting at the transition area
8:20 am – wave 1 swimmers head to the starting line under the bridge
8:30 am – START for solo women and teams (wave 1)
9:00 am – START for solo men (wave 2)
10:15 am – swim course closed, 12:00 pm – bike course closed
11:00 am – approximate first finishers
11:30 am – begin post race lunch at The Cove Deli
11:30-12:00 pm – staging for kid’s race – transition area
12:00 pm – preface meeting for kid’s race – transition area
12:30 pm – START for Kid’s Race (approximate)
1:20 pm – course closed, end aid station support
1:30 pm – awards celebration at Riverside Park

Overall top five male and female – special awards plus cash (removed from age groups)
($500 first, $300 second, $200 third, $150 fourth, $100 fifth) plus complimentary entry into 2015 event
Age group top three – special awards
